My work celebrates color, gesture, and the little surprises that happen when the two meet. Inspired by the coastal landscape behind my home and a background in graphic design, I translate scenery with a simplistic yet vibrant aesthetic.

Ann Parker is a designer and painter living in Beaufort, South Carolina. Originally from Atlanta, she find endless inspiration in the colorful coastal backdrop of her family's everyday life. Upon receiving a BFA and moving on to design school, Ann put the paintbrushes aside to focus on her design career; however, the pull to paint was always there. After a vivid dream the night before her birthday, she woke up obsessed with painting again... and hasn't stopped since. In her words, "My five-year-old-self thanks me every day".
